Jaw surgery in 1 month. Am I making the right decision?
« on: April 05, 2023, 10:27:47 AM »
Hello,

I am having double jaw surgery in one month. Maxillomandibular advancement with Dr. Walline.

Am I making the right decision from an aesthetic point of view?

Is there anything I should ask Dr. Walline at my pre-op appointment?

Thank you.

The plan looks good to me. I'd ask how he plans to handle the nose widening.
Millimeters are miles on the face.

What exactly can be done during the surgery to prevent this?

I'm guessing an alar cinch which I'm pretty sure I remember Dr. Walline saying he does that for his patients.
