Wasn't there a guy on here recently who was Swedish, who had a very poor result from his surgery and basically needs it re-done?

Europeans as a rule are not as into perfect smiles and regular faces compared to Americans and we tend not to have a medical system based on private insurance who loves to medicalise absolutely everything.  Public health systems will only really do these expensive kinds of surgery if the problem is really bad

However, I am encouraged to see more British teens getting surgery these days on the NHS.  I went to school with a girl with a really bad open bite (like it was nearly a full cm!) and she got braces, not surgery.  She's my age now and still has the open bite even though she's a clear case of someone who would really benefit from this kind of surgery.  A lot of people in the UK haven't even heard of it.  I only discovered it when I was researching solutions for my deep bite

I got the x-ray from my dentist today, but it is totally useless I think. It is not a lateral x-ray, it looks like this (not mine): EDIT: removed the useless picture.

I have my first consultation next week, they will do x-rays etc., I just talked with the surgeons office.

I will get back to you guys once I have something of substance.

You need a lateral ceph. Should be quite easy to acquire one.

I sent you a PM with a link to the album. I don't want them indexed by a search engine, that's why I killed the link.

Thanks... You don't look like you need jaw surgery to me unless you have functional issues.
Genioplasty and lipo under chin would balance out the profile.
