Maxo-mandibular advancement and changes in voice?

Is there any information on the change in one's voice after undergoing double jaw advancement? It seems to me that retrognathic jaws have a pinching effect on the vocal chords. (anyone with a recessed jaw can tilt their head up towards the ceiling and hum to hear the difference in vocal resonation without the bony restriction). I'd be surprised to hear that people that had the surgery didn't notice a substantial change (for the better) in vocal resonance.

Theoretically, and for the reasons you state, there ought to be a change to the voice. I've read previously that recessed jaws are a reason for a weak voice. However,  if you have cleft palate, le fort advancent might cause velopharyngeal insufficiency.l
