Constricted feeling?
« on: May 17, 2015, 08:02:43 PM »
Does anyone on here that has a retrognathic mandible experience an uncomfortable constricted feeling? It seems like I have an over reactive gag reflex. Does this go away after a maxo/mandibular advancement?

When I straighten my head, I can feel parts of my throat touching that I don't think I'm supposed to feel touch.

Weird, you probably give incredible blow jobs though   :)

I'm always on the receiving end :P And no plans to change that.

I get this too.  If I straighten my head posture my Adam's apple juts way out and I feel like I have a lump in my throat.

I've had numerous x-rays and a ct-scan, I can tell you with certainty that when I push my head posture back my airway narrows.
