The day of my final records appt (2 days before surgery) I got nervous and emotional but by the night before surgery I had mellowed out a ton.  I watched Groundhog Day with my mom at the hotel just to have some laughs :D

Really tho, I don't miss my old face at all because I still see me when I look in the mirror and so will you.  Getting nervous is normal but it'll be fine, really.

guys, i'm getting closer and closer to surgery and i can't sleep.

I think about the moment they will tell me i'll need general anesthesia, the moment i will wake up feeling like a truck hit my face...the anxiety, the panic, the vomit (god loves his children yeah).

i think that if teenage chicks managed to get through this is should too...but at times the pressure/anxiety is unbearable.

How did you manage it?

how were the moments before surgery?

i still didn't set a date since my surgeon and ortho told me they will need approx 10 days (told me this on tuesday) and then they'll call me to set a date.

it will be the first two weeks of june...

I already get a low dosage of Rivotril (6/7 drops per day) but it's quite ineffective

i agree.
i've been hiding since september now and i feel like it's too late to change "strategy".

Radiohead is my religion, but yeah i believe it could bring me down a little bit.

The thing is i injured myself bad (ankle) this winter so i'm afraid of playing football which is the only beautiful thing in life.

which sucks anyways (life, not football)

what are you stressed about? I think your issues were mostly in your jaw so you'll look great afterward

or do you mean like numbness? cause I worry about that too

no i do not have any tmj issue so it'd f**kin suck if it could arise after surgery.

im pretty lean, i stopped training this winter but my body mass stayed stable.

i'm 100% happy of my body now: i weigh quite a lot considered how tall i am and i have almost zero fat.

it'd suck to drop a lot of kg

i'm 172 for 68 kg.

my airway size is very little, i don't recall actual measurements even if they did them, i think its around 5 mm...i'll ask them next time.

im even very afraid the result will look unnatural with stiff and rigid lips, step off chin, bla bla bla

yeah.. 5mm is very small, I can understand why you're going through this

that Sandro Pelo result you posted is outstanding, very natural and attractive.

maybe it would've helped going into surgery more ignorant of possible complications
you'd have less anxiety before the surgery, but would probably come out of it being more disappointed in it's limitations

maybe  i wouldnt notice them and i would just be happy for my jaw and bite?
who knows!
