After surgery I've not used mouthwash
« on: August 27, 2019, 01:03:47 AM »
Hi
Some month ago I had double jaw surgery due an overbite. Doctor prescribed me a mounthwash but I used a wrong one.
I had no infection or other complications. The doubt is: can I had compromised the results of surgery?

My understanding is that the purpose of the specialized mouthwash is that it is less harsh on the incisions than alcohol based mouthwash. You’re actually not supposed to use it for too long anyway.

You’re fine, there’s no problem.

Highly doubt it, but ask your doctor if you're that concerned.
