Can bimax surgery harmonize the gonial angles?
« on: October 06, 2019, 12:59:59 PM »
My left gonial angle is higher than the right gonial angle and thus the left ramus is shorter than the right ramus.

Would bimax surgery fix this as a side effect but predominantly of course fix my jaws' recession?

Thank you

What surgical procedure could "equalize" the gonial angles on both sides?

You probably suffer from something called 'mandibular hyperplasia' which causes mandibular asymmetry. Is your midline offset?

Either way its impossible to give you solid advice from your description. You'll need to have a Conebeam CT taken.

It might be solved with jaw surgery only if the asymmetry is mild and your midline is offset. Or you might need an implant on one side or shaving on the other.

No, he doesn't. He suffers from something called 'low self esteem'. He posted photos and scans of himself before and he is a completely normal / handsome looking guy, depending on your individual taste.

No, he suffers from 'lead skull' which does not permit transmission of information.  He was repeatedly advised on the options available to him and declined to take any advice.  He's now temp banned for other reasons, but giving him further advice on his return would be futile.

Lófasz a fülébe. This means there is a horse's prick in his ear which is way of expressing, in his native tongue, information does not get through to him as in frustration when someone doesn't listen or elects not to 'hear' what you told them.

Definitely a software problem, not a hardware problem, in his case.

We both have recessed jaws. The difference is, I'm going to fix the recession before taking further actions, whereas you decided to slap implants on them. Fine for me, it's your face, do whatever you want with it.

That's a 'ceph' (cephalogram). Not a Conebeam CT.
Conebeam CT is a full 3D scan of your skull
