What causes nose widening in upper-jaw surgery?
« on: November 28, 2013, 12:10:43 AM »
I'm not sure what it is that causes this to occur in patients who go in for a simple impaction of the upper jaw. It has me worried that I might be at risk of nose widening when I attempt to address my vertical maxillary excess via TAD's.

Thoughts? Never saw this mentioned in any TAD studies, then again, most doctors don't care about this kind of stuff.
