Advice on rhinoplasty and jaw surgery combo
« on: July 29, 2016, 02:51:17 AM »
Hey guys

So I'm having planning on doing jaw surgery(chin wing, maybe more) but also a rhinoplasty. I know that chin, jaw and nose are aesthetically related, and that you can't really move one without moving the other.

Would any of you advise to do one surgery after the other, or do you think it's best to have both nose and jaw/chin done at the same time, by the same surgeon?

Jaws first. Rhinoplasty in 9, better 12 months. Rhinoplasty is best done by a surgeon who does nothing but rhinoplasties. Although I've heard that zarrinbal is a good rhinoplasty surgeon. If doing only lower jaw surgery, you can do nose surgery at the same time.

Not a good idea to do rhinoplasty at the same time. Bones remodel, cartilage and nose shift but rhinoplasty is hard to revise. Wait until you know what nose you've got, then fix it.

I always ALWAYS would have said jaws first. But Sinn basically did one of the finest rhinos I've ever see during jaw surgery that really I don't know what to say???
